Trial Verdict
Though a woman was taken for a stress test to Illinois Masonic Hospital due to chest pain/shortness of breath, the test was not completed and she was rescheduled for the following week. Just a few days later, the woman died from advanced coronary artery disease. When the defense refused to meet Mr. McNabola’s settlement demand of $1 million or make any settlement offer, the case went to trial and resulted in a much higher verdict.
