About Metropolitan Family Services
Metropolitan Family Services was founded in 1857 and has been serving families for over 150 years. At Metropolitan, they seek to empower families and communities through a holistic approach.
They provide wrap-around support to families through empowerment in education, economic stability, and emotional wellness. They also offer families access to a variety of legal, violence prevention, and domestic violence prevention resources.
In 2021, Metropolitan Family Services has been able to help 136,675 families. Their focus for the year is “the power of ‘RE’”. With this focus, they are aiming to empower families to re-envision, re-imagine, re-grow, remain, renovate, and be resilient.
Get Involved
Later this month, Metropolitan Family Services is hosting the 40th Annual Mpower the Night, a virtual event that is free to attend. Our firm will be donating to this organization in celebration of its incredible commitment to Chicago families.
During the virtual event, they plan to share stories about families impacted by their work as well as Metropolitan Family Service’s past, present, and future commitments to empowering families and communities.
