McNabola & Associates, LLC Sponsors Charity Softball Game for Officer's Memorial Fund

Commander Paul Bauer of the Chicago Police Department was in pursuit of an armed and violent criminal suspect in March when the two got into a physical conflict. Officer Bauer was slain by the suspect, who shot him seven times.

In honor of Commander Bauer’s bravery and service to the good people of Chicago, a memorial fund was established to help his family make ends meet in his absence. There was a charity softball game played between the New York City Police Department and the Chicago Police Department to raise money for the memorial fund. McNabola & Associates, LLC is proud to be able to say we chose to be a sponsor for this incredible game, which was played on June 16th at Curtis Granderson Stadium of the University of Illinois, Chicago campus.

We offer our sincerest condolences to the family of Commander Bauer, who is still grieving over his loss. If you would like to know how you can support Bauer’s family, and indeed all the families of public servants harmed in the line-of-duty throughout the greater Chicago area, we encourage you to visit the official Chicago Police Memorial Foundation website (https://www.cpdmemorial.org/). You can learn about upcoming and ongoing fundraisers there, as well as ways you can donate directly or spread awareness of the charity organization.
